Description of the research activity:

The 'Tecnologo/Tecnologa' will perform tasks in support of the research activities listed below. Development of models of energy conversion plants and machines based on renewable and alternative energy sources, as well as energy storage systems for application in smart grids and energy communities; development of predictive models of utilities' energy consumption; development of innovative optimization and management control codes for hybrid energy systems aimed at maximizing the energy, environmental, and economic performance of smart grids and energy communities; development of testbeds and testing of innovative energy systems for micro-smart-grid applications; analysis of innovative solutions to promote flexibility and energy efficiency in energy uses and production.
