Your Responsibilities

  • Collaborate within the university’s research focus area “Heterogeneity and Cohesion”
  • Contribute to research projects in the fields of educational equity and cultural school development
  • Participate in the preparation and submission of research proposals
  • Attend conferences and provide both academic and administrative support for publications, guest lectures, and research projects
  • Independent teaching courses of amounting to an average of 6 weekly semester hours and supervise students
  • Contribute to administrative tasks within the department

Your Profile

  • Completed doctoral degree in Educational Sciences or an equivalent qualification with a specialization in general pedagogy and school pedagogy
  • Proven expertise in qualitative research methods as well as in methodological and didactic approaches related to educational equity and school development
  • Comprehensive knowledge of educational theory and foundations, arts and culture education, as well as in educational equity digital forms of teaching and learning
  • Research project in the area of “Bildungstheorie” or Philosophy of Education is welcome
  • Documented teaching experience at the university level
  • Excellent command of English and German, both written and spoken, with the ability to teach and publish in both languages
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and responsibly
  • Strong analytical, systematic, and communication skills
  • High level of personal and social competence in collaborative academic settings

We offer an annual gross salary of at least € 70.200,20 for a fulltime position. An overpayment based on qualification and experience is possible.
