Your Responsibilities

  • Writing a PhD thesis in the field of ‘Sociology’
  • Participation in research projects of the ‘Digital Societies’ working group, in particular within the Elisabeth List Fellowship Programme
  • Participation in the research project ‘Feminist Ageing Futures in Datafied Worlds’
  • Participation in the planning and execution of various event formats (including facilitating science to public events such as workshops and exhibitions)
  • Participation in publication activities
  • Participation in third-party grant application activities
  • Participation in scientific conferences
  • Participation in organisational and administrative tasks as well as in evaluation measures

Your Profile

  • Completed diploma or master’s degree in the field of ‘Social Sciences’, ‘Sociology’ or ‘Arts-based Practice’
  • Very good knowledge of written and spoken German and English
  • Very good IT skills
  • Experience in participatory and arts-based research, in collaboration with different social groups and cultural institutions
  • Experience in the planning and implementation of exhibitions
  • Excellent knowledge of feminist research methodology and/ or experience in implementing feminist research projects
  • Connections to and/or willingness to connect with local organisations outside the university
  • Sense of personal responsibility and ability to work with others
  • High level of social and communication skills
  • Enjoys scientific work and dealing with students

We offer an annual gross salary of at least € 52.007,20 for a fulltime position. An overpayment based on qualification and experience is possible.
