Assistant Professor

Focus: teaching
Faculty of Law in Warsaw
Department of Private Law
Teaching hours: 180 (½ time)

Duties:

  • carrying out teaching activities
  • carrying out organizational activities for the benefit of the Faculty
  • improving the workshop of an academic teacher
  • developing original course programs
  • organizing the didactic process

Requirements:

  • doctoral degree in the field of law
  • excellent knowledge of intellectual property law, as well as knowledge of civil procedure and civil law
  • a minimum of 1.5 years of experience in teaching students and preparing teaching materials
  • experience in organizing the didactic process (planning and organization of didactic classes, preparation of regulations, procedures and instructions on didactics, implementation of new didactic programs)
  • fluency in Polish and English
  • professional experience gained outside the university
  • experience in conducting business activities and assisting students in their entrepreneurial development
  • experience in conducting trainings, workshops and trainings
  • experience in organizing scientific conferences
  • willingness to work on weekends
  • declaration of employment at SWPS University as the primary place of work

Required documents:

  • scientific CV with a list of scientific, teaching and organizational achievements and organizational achievements with direct reference to the eligibility criteria stated above
  • scan of a document confirming receipt of a doctoral degree
  • statement confirming knowledge of a foreign language at the required level

Formal criteria:

  • scientific achievements – 40% of the final assessment
  • teaching achievements – 40% of the final assessment
  • organisational and practical achievements – 20% of the final assessment
