The Computer Engineering Department at King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals (KFUPM), Saudi Arabia is seeking exceptional candidates in all academic ranks (Assistant/Associate/Full Professors and Postdocs). Candidates holding PhD degrees from reputable universities with interests and expertise in all areas of Computer Engineering are encouraged to apply. Candidates with demonstrated research and teaching expertise in the following areas will have higher priority:

• Internet of Things (IoT)
• Cloud and Edge Computing
• Embedded Systems
• Computer Vision
• High Performance and Parallel Computing
• Quantum Computing

Successful candidates are expected to:

• Leverage their extensive experience to substantially lead and support education (teach courses and labs at the undergraduate/graduate levels) and engagement efforts
• Engage in high-quality teaching and fulfill the teaching requirements of the department
• Take advantage of the most recent advancements in their area of study, make significant contributions to relevant disciplines, expand their own international academic profiles, and maintain an active international academic network
• Initiate and maintain research activities/projects with faculty members that result in peer-reviewed articles in high-impact professional journals
• Provide service to the department, the university, and the profession
• Participate in thematic and interdisciplinary research in one or more of the university's research emphasis areas
