Faculty Positions in Computer Science, Software Engineering, and Artificial Intelligence

The International University of Sarajevo is expanding its IT programs and invites applications for full-time faculty positions at all ranks in our Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), Software Engineering (SE), and Artificial Intelligence and Data Engineering (AIDE) programs.

With increasing student enrollment and the addition of three prestigious double diploma programs in collaboration with Istanbul Technical University, Istanbul University, and Marmara University, we are seeking dynamic, active faculty members to join our growing team. We have multiple openings available.

Priority Topics

We welcome applications from candidates across all areas of computer science and engineering, with particular interest in:

• Software Engineering: Software Testing, Requirements Engineering, Software Construction
• Artificial Intelligence: Data Analytics, Machine Learning, Data Engineering
• Statistics: Probability Theory, Statistical modelling 

While these topics are prioritized, we encourage applications from candidates with expertise in other relevant areas as well.

Minimum Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Software Engineering, or a closely related field
• A strong research record with high-quality publications
• Demonstrated ability to teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses in computer science, software engineering, or AI-related fields

3. Statement of Research Interests (maximum 1 page)
4. Summary of Teaching Experience (maximum 1 page), including a list of undergraduate courses from our programs* that the candidate is capable of teaching 
5. Two references (names and contact details – references will be contacted at a later stage in the process)

*Candidates are encouraged to review the IUS curricula to identify courses they are qualified to teach.
