As R&D Engineer Litho Process Development you will be a member of the Advanced Litho Process group, part of the Advanced Patterning department, and be responsible for the optimization, standardization and creation of patterning processes across multiple platforms compatible with different integration schemes.

What you will do

  • Develop litho processes for patterning and integration of advanced test site reticles 
  • Implement and optimize overlay control strategies and modeling to ensure the precise alignment of multiple layers and back side alignment during the lithography development process on both 193 immersion DUV and low NA & High NA EUV lithography 
  • Collaborate with researchers & process engineers from other groups(integration/CMP/etch/metrology) to improve patterning performance.   
  • Coding(Matlab/Python/Julia...) to analyze data with statistical/ML toolboxes for multiple tools and processes. 
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues to optimize advanced patterning flows. 
  • Define standard designs for advanced logic/memory & metro targets, place them in next generation masks and finally validate them on wafer.   
  • Define E-tests and correlate with appropriate process DoE’s 
  • Work with various tool suppliers in various Joint Develop Projects.

Who you are

  • You have a PhD in Chemistry, Physics, Chemical Engineering or Materials Science. 
  • You have experience with semiconductor processing and working in a cleanroom. 
  • Experience with advanced lithography (193nm immersion/EUV) is a plus. 
  • You are well organized and eager to learn. 
  • You have good technical problem-solving skills and are comfortable with multitasking. 
  • You are an excellent communicator and have good reporting skills. 
  • You are fluent in English.
