YOUR TASKS
The assignment consists of the following identifications of macroinvertebrates and validation of birds observed in the framework of two projects:
- Identification of stream macroinvertebrates: 14 tubes from 11 sites from Toulouse urban streams and 22 sites from Zwalm, Gent, Zottegem urban streams to the MMIF level except for the following families Chironomidae to the subfamily (tribe) level (Orthocladiinae, Tanypodinae, Tanytarsini, Chironomini, etc.), Dixidae to the genus level, Dytiscidae to the genus level, Elmidae to the genus level, Gomphidae to the genus level, Hydrophilidae to genus level, Hydropsychidae to genus level, Hydroptilidae to the genus level, Limonidae to the genus level. Validation of birds observed in 22 sites. 1 month halftime
- Identification of terrestrial insects from 29 sites of 3 replicates per site to the species level and pollinators from 29 sites of 6 replicates to the species level in Zwalm and Maarkebeek river basins. Stream invertebrates from 6 sites to the MMIF level in Dorenbosbeek. 2 months halftime
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- You hold a thesis-based doctorate.
- You have broad experience in plant and animal identification in and around surface waters, substantiated by scientific publications and reports.
