Description of the research activity:

The researcher will be involved in the research activities of the Competence Centre for Mountain Innovation Ecosystems and the iNEST Ecosystem. Specifically, he/she will be responsible for collecting and analyzing: (a) literature on visual research methods, tourism and climate change in alpine regions and (b) visual and textual data from various social media on landscape, climate change and tourism, with a particular focus on mountain contexts. The objective of the research is the conceptualization and modeling of visual representations phenomena associated with tourism and climate change in the alpine context. In addition to this work, the researcher will support the Competence Centre’s applied research activities, oversee the dissemination of results in both scientific and public-facing contexts, and participate in engagement and community-building activities within the iNEST ecosystem.
