Description of the research activity:

The research activity focuses on methods and approaches to abstraction in ontology engineering in the context of the research project ABSTRACTRON. Additionally, it studies the application, impact, and relevance of ontologies and conceptual modelling techniques in the context of contemporary AI research and neuro-symbolic reasoning methods as studied in the context of the project CAIGE.
