Description of the research activity:

The research activity will be carried out in the field of hydraulics and watershed protection and will specifically focus on: •Hydraulic safety, territorial hydraulic protection, and mitigation strategies •Hazard scenarios in the context of climate change •Ordinary and mass sediment transport phenomena (debris and mudflows, as well as avalanches) •Theoretical and laboratory analysis of the rheology of debris and mudflows and avalanches •Defense structures and watershed management
