Thesis subject: Nanoplastic Exposure monitored by X-ray fluorescence with focus on plant Uptake from rhizosphere Soil

Soils are increasingly threatened by pollution with small plastic debris, particularly by nanoplastics ( 

  • The applicant should hold a degree allowing enrollment for a PhD (such as MSc, Master 2 de Recherche, or equivalent) in earth science, environmental sciences, biology or chemistry      
  • We seek a highly motivated individual with a keen interest in experimental work and with the ability to work both independently and as a part of the team
  • Experience in trace metal analysis and/or spectroscopic methods is preferred but not require
  • Proficiency in English (working language at the ESRF) 

Your shall be enrolled in The University Grenoble Alpes Doctoral School   as a condition of your hiring.

Contract of two years renewable for one year.
