Minimum Requirement
- PhD in Molecular and Cellular Biology, Immunology, or related fields.
- Experience in mammalian and bacterial cell culture.
- Familiarity with gene editing techniques such as CRISPR-Cas9.
- Experience in isolating Bone Marrow Derived Macrophages and Primary Cell Culture.
- Familiarity with flow cytometry (FACS machine) and data analysis.
- Competence in real-time PCR and western blot.
- Proficiency in immunofluorescent microscopy.
- Ability to write scientific articles.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
General Job Description
- Studying the interaction between AHR signaling and macrophage metabolism.
- Exploring AHR activation/inhibition influences cellular processes such as energy metabolism, nutrient sensing, and inflammatory responses.
- Utilizing cutting-edge techniques including gene editing by CRISPR-Cas9.
- Isolating Bone Marrow Derived Macrophages, and advanced imaging modalities such as immunofluorescent microscopy,
- Assessing the regulatory networks governing macrophage behavior.
- Contributing to high-impact research projects, publishing findings in leading scientific journals, and presenting results at national and international conferences.
