About the Institute of Educational Sciences:

The Institute of Education Sciences (ISE) at The University Mohammed VI Polytechnic is driven by the desire to develop the sciences of education and training through educational innovation, research, teaching-learning, and continuing professional development. The ISE wishes to contribute to the mission of excellence and public utility of the UM6P, by setting up

research/training-action projects in Morocco and other African countries. ISE relies on a solid team of researchers and local and international strategic alliances with renowned universities to do so. Besides striving to offer graduate programs and research in education sciences, ISE is supporting The Foundation OCP (FOCP) in most of its education initiatives by conducting studies and managing FOCP projects in primary and secondary education.

Job Description:

Qualifications:

• International teaching and research experience: Demonstrated experience in teaching and conducting research on an international scale, fostering a diverse and inclusive learning environment.
• Teaching experience: A minimum of five years teaching graduate-level courses in qualitative and/or quantitative research methods, as well as at least five years teaching graduate-level courses on education policy and governance.
• External research funding: Proven track record of attracting external research funding, showcasing the ability to secure resources for cutting-edge research projects.
• Leadership in research teams: Experience in leading research teams, emphasizing collaboration and mentorship within an academic setting.
• Research focus: Specialization in education policy, governance, and finance with a focus on case studies and mixed methods research designs.
• Publication record: Publications in Q1 and Q2 level academic journals addressing questions of education policy, governance, and finance.
• Collaboration with stakeholders: Evidence of successful collaborations with educational stakeholders in education research projects.

Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the development and delivery of graduate-level courses in research methods and education governance and policy.
• Lead and participate in innovative research projects, contributing to the advancement of knowledge in education policy, governance, and finance.
• Mentor and supervise graduate students, fostering a supportive and engaging learning environment.
• Actively engage with external stakeholders, establishing and maintaining collaborative partnerships in education and research.
