IHP is an institute of the Leibniz Association, conducting research and development in the area of silicon-based systems, ultra-high-frequency circuits, technologies and materials. IHP employs approximately 380 people and develops innovative solutions for application areas such as wireless and broadband communication, security, medical technology, industry 4.0, automotive industry, and aerospace. It operates a pilot line for technological development and the fabrication of high-speed circuits in 0.13/0.25 µm BiCMOS technologies, located in a 1500 m² class 1 cleanroom.
