The PIA2 BIOS is an industrial project between the Region CENTRE, Servier Industry and University of Tours. The main objective of this project is to answer the challenges of the sector biomedicines both in terms scientific knowledge, new therapeutic solutions, offer of training and production capacities.
Project: Dendritic cells (DCs) have a central role in immunity and induce both specific immunity and immune tolerance thanks to their surface pathogen receptors (PPRs). The immune tolerance induced by tolerant DCs (Tol-DCs) appears as an interesting way to explore in order to improve the long-term transplantation outcome. The strategy was to evaluate the capacities of anti-PRR antibodies (Ab) from a library in several formats to induce Tol-DCs on DC subsets. Different bispecific Ab (BsAB) have been designed targeting different subsets of DCs. The objectives of the project are to optimize the production of BsAB and defining the mechanisms by which these BsAB work. This project in interface with an industrial partner will address biotechnological and fundamental immunological issues.
Candidate qualification: Applicants should have a strong expertise in Immunology, cell biology and good skills in antibody engineering. Applicants should be able to conduct his/her research independently but also to work as team. The project will require a wide variety of techniques including flow cytometry, BRET, confocal microscopy and cell transfection. Solid track record is mandatory.
Application: Appointment starts immediately for 2 years. Interested candidates should send a CV with a cover letter and contact for two referees to Dr Florence Velge-Roussel (email@example.com).Lire la suite
