The Aix-Marseille School of Economics (AMSE) is inviting applications for three-year PhD grants starting in September 2018.
The PhD candidate will be enrolled in the AMSE PhD programme and supervised by an AMSE faculty member.
The monthly gross salary is 1 768.55 €. This amount includes social security coverage but is not net of income taxes. Teaching assistant positions might be available. AMSE PhD programme yearly tuition fees amount about 400 €.
Applicants must hold a Master in economics prior to September 2018 from an institution that provides a level of training in economics at least as good as AMSE and they must have achieved a first class standing in this Master. Applications are welcome from both French and non-French nationals. Knowledge of French is not necessary. Prospective applicants must contact an AMSE faculty member and must submit to her/him a research project. It is only after the acceptance of the project by the AMSE faculty member that applicants are allowed to officially apply.

The first four items must be included in a single PDF file, following the order given above. The name of the file must be “YOUR_NAME – AMSE PhD Grant Application.pdf”.
Selected applicants might be invited for interviews at both institutions. Applicants will be notified about final decisions by July 16, 2018 latest. Applications for the AMSE PhD grant 2018-2021 are automatically considered as applications for the AMSE PhD programme.Lire la suite
